Klondike

I've made two purchases here recently on the Klondike bar original, and the chocolate is not covering the whole bar on either purchase. Should I take my purchase back and try another store?

Just purchased a 6 pack of the Klondike Heath ice cream bars. It has always been our favorite until tonight.

After partially unwrapping one and while eating it I immediately noticed a strong chemical smell! The same goes for the one my wife had. I went on line to discover that other customers have had the same complaint about this product. Well it mustve fallen on deaf ears.

Ill call customer service about it tomorrow. Not that it will do any good. The 4 remaining bars are going straight to the garbage can. Unfortunately Ive already ingested some.

Hopefully it wont make us sick.

This will be my last purchase of this product. Youve been warned.

Recently the No Sugar added Klondike bars have a weird smell and taste. It's hard to describe, but a cross between burned and fishy.

It may be the wrappers that stink, but the smell is so strong and unpleasant it makes them taste terrible. Even worse, the chocolate layer is so thin now that it doesn't even cover the ice cream sufficiently.

Klondike used to be delicious. They are such a disappointment now.

Klondike bar tasted ok (much les chocolate than in the past), but the wrapper itself smelled so foul that it made the entire experience awful. I will be removing them from the wrappers before eating, but not even sure if it is safe, and won't be purchasing again.Sk

Yet another beloved brand down the tubes. Size of bars has decreased.

The chocolate tastes synthetic and barely covers the ice cream. No Heath candies to speak of in Heath flavor. The ice cream tastes fake. And the wrapper smells like a toxic waste dump.

What the *** has happened? Don't do anything for a Klonike bar.

Go to your local ice cream shop and buy from a neighbor. The Klondike bar from your youth has turned into corporate crap.

The smell of chemicals smells very strong! Maybe it has leached into the bar? Im thinking they should be thrown away.

The quality has declined, the saying what would I do for a Klondike bar? Well nothing, they lack flavor, size is disappointing and barely chocolate coating and the bottom of them not fully covered, the flavors all tastes the same.

The vanilla is bland so we tried the heath bar flavor and guess what it tasted just like the vanilla. How could they take something so good and turn it in to something that tastes like the generic brand of itself? I will not buy that brand ever again. Did they think that consumers will not notice?

There are much better quality ice cream bars available that hasnt gotten cheap on us by giving less quality products. RIP Klondike because this company will not last if you continue down this path.

The Aluminum Wrapper on the Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream bar smells terrible! My husband thought is may be a chemical.

Klondike is just now just a money making game. I never manage to finish a game without paying.

What happened to the fun aspect. Stop expecting us to pay every time we need to move to another level. I am a long time player and there is no recognition for this. Just pay pay pay.

Maybe if you see these comments there may be a difference for your loyal customers. Time for you to give back to your loyal players. What will you do ?

Tell us online or on FB or make the effort with loyal players. How much more must I tell you until you accept my comments???

Wife has one from old box mine was newer box. Hers smells fine mine smells like paint or chemical smell.

Hers did not. Something wrong with it. Could not eat it. Going to try to return to store and see if we get a refund.

First time it's ever been a problem. Will see how they handle it

Husband & I both opened and began eating a heath Klondike bar and both of us looked at each other and both of us smelling the ice cream and the wrapper! The chemical smell was so bad we couldnt even eat our ice cream!

Im very sure this not normal by all means! I just have an awful feeling this is something bad and a whole lot of people are going to be sick.

Smell is dangerously chemically . Probably not safe to eat.

Will return. How is this overlooked in production? I took one bite and it left a chemical taste.

More than one purchase of Klondike bars all wrappers smell like poison. It is unclear if the ice cream bars also smell.

It is bad enough you have decreased the size of the bar, raised the price but not to have a poison smelling wrapper is the last straw for me. My husband loves them but I will no longer purchase them.
